Frequently Asked Questions
How do I add the widget to my home screen?
- Long press on your home screen until the apps start wiggling
- Tap the "+" button in the top left corner
- Search for "Year View"
- Select the widget size you want (Small, Medium, or Large)
- Tap "Add Widget"
- Position it where you'd like and tap "Done"
How do I change the widget color?
- Open the Year View app
- Tap on any color theme in the "Choose Your Theme" section
- The widget will automatically update within a few seconds
When does the widget update?
The widget automatically updates at midnight each day to show the new progress. You don't need to do anything!
Why isn't my widget updating?
Try these steps:
- Make sure your iPhone has an internet connection
- Remove the widget and add it again
- Restart your iPhone
- Make sure Year View is up to date in the App Store
Does Year View collect my data?
No! Year View does not collect any personal data. Everything stays on your device. Read our
Privacy Policy for details.
What do the numbers mean?
- Year (2025): The current year being tracked
- "X left": Number of days remaining in the year
- Percentage: How much of the year has passed
Can I see multiple years?
Currently, Year View only tracks the current year. Each January 1st, it automatically resets for the new year.
